ASC People is recruiting for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a growing commercial construction company in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This full-time position is ideal for an experienced project management professional who enjoys leading construction projects from planning through completion while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
The successful candidate will oversee project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, financial performance, and day-to-day operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of commercial construction projects from project award through closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and execution plans.
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and project teams.
- Review and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and contract documentation.
- Track project costs, budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
- Lead project meetings and communicate project status with owners and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and safety policies.
- Work closely with Superintendents to coordinate field operations.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Review subcontractor pay applications, owner billings, and project documentation.
- Oversee project reporting and final closeout activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods and project delivery.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction software is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
