ASC People is recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer Operator to support a manufacturing operation in Ford City, Pennsylvania. This onsite, full-time opportunity is ideal for a machinist who enjoys setting up, programming, and operating CNC equipment to produce quality parts that meet production timelines.
The successful candidate will set up, program, and operate CNC machines, lathes, or mills to manufacture parts that meet production times and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Setup, program, and operate CNC machines, lathes, or mills.
- Manufacture parts to meet production times and quality requirements.
- Read blueprints and use measuring tools to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
- Operate various hand tools as needed.
- Perform as a productive and cooperative member of a team or independently.
Qualifications
- Must have Siemens control experience.
- Must be able to read blueprints and measuring tools to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished parts.
- At least 1 year of experience working in a machine shop environment.
- Reliable, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude, good work ethic, and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, or Heidenhain controls beneficial.
