ASC People is recruiting for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to join a growing construction organization in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This full-time opportunity is ideal for an experienced construction leader with a proven background managing government, healthcare, commercial, or institutional construction projects from planning through project completion.
The successful candidate will oversee all phases of construction, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, client communication, and project closeout while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead construction projects from preconstruction through final closeout.
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and field personnel.
- Maintain strong communication with owners, architects, engineers, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project objectives.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, contract requirements, and quality standards.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, change orders, and cost controls.
- Lead project meetings and provide leadership throughout each phase of construction.
- Successfully manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of construction project management experience for Senior Project Manager positions.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience for Project Manager positions.
- Experience managing government and/or healthcare construction projects is required.
- Demonstrated success managing commercial, institutional, or public construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Project, and construction management software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Government, federal, state, municipal, healthcare, or institutional construction projects.
- Knowledge of Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) procedures.
- Experience managing occupied healthcare facilities.
- Understanding of construction quality control and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Strong financial management and project forecasting experience.
